MSBioProgress: Ethical AI to fight Multiple Sclerosis

Dr Violetta Zujovic, Brain and Spine Institute
Multiple Sclerosis is a disease of the central nervous system which is the second cause of severe disablement, after traffic accidents. It manifests itself around the age of 30, and affects 3 times as many women as men. Different factors influence the onset of the disease and its progression.
The MSBioProgress project uses sophisticated statistical techniques to analyze high-dimensional data sets, such as genomic biomarkers and brain images to predict the individual evolution of the disease and propose personalized treatments.
We proudly sponsor this Brain & Spine institute (ICM) initiative at the intersection of genomics, neuro-imaging and data science. The project is led by Violetta Zujovic.
